Audi introduced their R8 LMS in 2015 as their GT3 class car, replacing the highly successful R8 LMS Ultra. The V10 powered track machine is one of the most popular amongst customer racing teams, taking P1 finishes at all the main endurance races including Nürburgring, Spa, Bathurst, Dubai and Suzuka.
Whilst the 24h of Nürburgring was won by the silver #28 Audi, the story of the red #29 shows the true grit of the team, the car and the 'Green Hell' as the race is known. Despite losing 3 laps early in the race the continued effort from Team WRT clawed their way through the field to place a commendable P7
