Audi introduced their R8 LMS in 2015 as their GT3 class car, replacing the highly successful R8 LMS Ultra. As usual in GT3 spec cars, an “Evo” amendment is made 3-4 years after the car is introduced, resulting in the 2019 R8 LMS Evo. Despite aero changes to the front and rear the car remains instantly recognisable.
“Not Audi Sport. Not Audi USA. Audi Canada.”
This is the line from the wheels.Ca article that we found when researching this car. Truth be told, we just really liked the livery but it turns out there is much more to the story.
